INDUCTION PROGRAMME

Prior to embarking for a first contract with Harding Retail all colleagues are required to attend an induction programme at our Central Support in Bristol, UK.

The 2 day program will contain the following modules:

  • Module 1: Who we are? (Company History)
  • Module 2: What we do? (Products & Brands)
  • Module 3: Introduction to life at sea
  • Module 4: Stock replenishment/delivery process (including Manual Handling training)
  • Module 5: Loss Prevention
  • Module 6: Customer Service & Selling skills – ASK and We Sail to Sell

JEWELLERY & WATCH SALES SPECIALIST TRAINING

Jewellery and watches make up a large share of our overall business. Knowledge in these specialised areas is critical to its success. Whether you are new to us as a jeweller / watch specialist, returning to us and progressing your career or a returning member of management, we put you through your paces with a 5 day training program at our Central Support in Bristol, containing the following modules:

  • Module 1: Customer Service & Advanced Selling Techniques
  • Module 2: Fine Jewellery Product knowledge
  • Module 3: Luxury Watch Product knowledge
  • Module 4: Delivering power point presentations
  • Module 5: Special Events/ Trunk show procedures
  • Module 6: Loss Prevention & Inventory Control
  • Module 7: Tax & Duty Free guidelines and procedures

ONBOARD TRAINING

Once on board you will also receive on-going training, which could but may not be limited to any of the following training sessions:

  • Cruise line Safety Training & Ship Familiarisation
  • Cruise line Policies & Procedures
  • Cruise line Customer Service Expectations
  • ASK
  • We Sail to Sell
  • Harding Retail Loss Prevention Program
